Dining Guide: Apple Bay, Long Bay & Carrot Bay

Beachfront Dining at Long Bay

1748 Restaurant

1748 is the signature dining venue at Long Bay Beach Resort, housed within the beautifully restored stone walls of an 18th-century sugar mill.

  • Atmosphere: An “unfussy yet sophisticated” vibe where you can dine with your feet in the sand or on the elegant open-air terrace. A drink at their waterside beach bar is very memorable.
  • Why it fits: It offers a complete resort experience, including a coffee shop for early morning starts and an option to buy a resort pass. Yoga is sometimes on offer.
  • Note: It can be on the pricier end of the scale.

Tropical Fusion Beach Bar and Grill

  • Atmosphere: A humble, authentic beachfront eatery with stunning views and a constant sea breeze.
  • Specialties: Chef Ken is famous for his Mango Jerk Chicken Wraps, Lobster Alfredo, and perfectly fried conch fritters.
  • Why it fits: It is perfect for a high-quality but casual lunch or dinner where the focus is entirely on exceptional Caribbean fusion cuisine.

Proximity & Logistics: Both restaurants are located directly on Long Bay Beach, making them easily accessible for guests staying at Faymos Properties.

  • Parking: They share a large parking area near the eastern end of the bay.
  • Seasonality: While both are generally open year-round, Tropical Fusion Beach Bar and Grill is typically closed on Sundays, except for special buffet events, and Mondays. 1748 Restaurant remains open daily.
